Blah....

Yes, we have had a BLAH week.  This past weekend Kate was running a fever and hasn't really been feeling well ever since.  We took her to the doctor on Tuesday, where they told us she seemed to have some sort of virus that should run its course.  However, they wanted to check a urine sample to rule that out.  They called us this morning to tell us that she has a urinary tract infection :(  Poor thing!  She has been sort of grumpy, hasn't eaten, and has just been plain unpleasant...very unusual for her.  I feel awful now knowing she hasn't felt good all week!  I have never had the joy of experiencing a UTI but I hear they are just plain awful.  Ugh.
One big milestone this week...John managed to roll over (9/6/11 to be exact...for my purposes only :)!  Wha?!  Yes he is only 8 weeks old...so advanced ;)
The boys continue to fight sleep and this "schedule" we are so desperately trying to get them on.  They are very erratic sleepers.  Kate wasn't this tough!  They have yet to truly sleep for a 4 or 5 hour stretch.  They are just not very good sleepers at all :(  We are getting some rest but not much.  Enough to get by.  Praying this gets better soon.  These 4-hour nighters are killing me (and Joe).  My "day" begins about 2 or 2:30 in the morning, and sometimes doesn't end until 9 or 10pm the next evening.  Sometimes I get lucky and the boys let me get 2 extra hours in from 4am-6am but not always!  It is tough, but we are getting by :)  At least when we are up all night we have these precious faces to look forward to.  Makes it a little more do-able :)

Here is a pic of their nursery.  Somehow, I did not manage to capture both cribs in this shot.  Will have to try again later, since that is really what makes this room interesting.
