Happy Masters Week

I love being in Augusta for Masters week.  There's just something about all the hustle and bustle and tourists and activities...just fun!  And nothing beats hunkering down on Saturday and Sunday to watch the tournament on tv.  This is the first year in a long time I won't be heading out to the course :(  Walking long distances is really not the best idea, nor the most comfortable, at this stage of the game.
So this is what Kate looked like this week one year ago, at about 6 months old.  Hard to believe how much a difference a year makes in the life of a baby!  Or in the life of her parents, for that matter.  She's got a pink Masters polo for this year she's been sporting but I have been horrible about taking pictures lately!  Going to try to get one this week...

The wheels have been spinning like crazy lately.  The new house is being framed this week.  And they have also started on the room addition / renovation here on our house now.  The people that bought the house from us wanted to go ahead and finish off the room upstairs and add a bathroom as Joe and I had planned to do had we stayed.  So Joe decided it would be easiest to have them do that work right along with the work that has been going on with the new house.  Poor Joe has been burning it from both ends.  I stay pretty busy myself with work, running after Kate, and trying to have everything ready to go when we are ready to move in, all while trying to be lazy as possible.  Mom and I were able to put a good dent in some packing this past weekend.  I can't decide if moving just 6 houses down the street will be easier or if it will make things tougher.
I am still feeling good, just big.  I am about the size now that I was with Kate at 8 months.  Multiple pregnancies are definitely different.  I'm already going to the bathroom constantly, so not getting much sleep at night (God preparing me?!?!).  I've begun to feel a good bit of movement with them now, which is so neat!  Always reassuring to feel little kicks throughout the day...reminds me that all is well!

  1. It's crazy isn't it... looking back at photos of the kidos just a year ago!?! They change so much and so fast. I love this time of year as well and Master's week always marks the "wind down" of the school year (6 more weeks)! I can't wait to be out for the summer this year especially. Carson is at such a fun age and I love being home with him! Let me know when you have boy names finalized (if ya'll are telling)! :)

  2. I know you're looking forward to summer Natalie! He gets more and more handsome the older he gets...looks so much like a Perry. I will definitely let you know once we decide on names...picking out one name w/ Kate was hard enough, we are already struggling with trying to nail down two!
