Can We Have S'more? & Happy Halloween

This past weekend Joe and Kate rode over to Will's house to pick up Billy and Will and bring them back to our house to do some s'mores and marshmallow roasting.  The kids had a great time learning how to roast marshmallows and really enjoyed the s'mores (and so did we!).

Guess that one got a little over-done

Will said, "To heck with the marshmallows, just give me graham crackers!"

Love the expressions here

Will enjoyed his s'more

All that fun, now time to take Will home!

This is how we sent Will home to his mommy.  Apparently we don't have napkins at my house.

For Halloween we went to the neighborhood party for some fun, food, and games.  Afterward we took Kate trick or treating for the first time.  So fun!  Here is our holiday in pics:

Kate was a fairy princess

Hunting for pumpkins in the forest

We couldn't find a pumpkin so we stopped to swing instead

T-Rex wanted in on the swinging

Sweet little fairies

Pretty girls!

I know---lame.  This was the extent of Matthew's and John's costumes this year.  Never did get around to getting costumes for them.  Of course this just means they'll have to be extra dolled-up for next year :)

Is it really November already?!  Where did October go??  Our boys will be 4 months old in just 2 weeks.  I really cannot believe how quickly the year has gone.  It still feels like just yesterday we went for our first prenatal appointment in early January and discovered we would be having twins.  Hard to think that at this time last year they weren't so much as a twinkle in our eyes.  The boys are doing so much better.  I think I can now officially say they are sleeping through the night, praise God!  Each day I stop and thank the Lord for these 3 little ones.  They are so precious and have brought us such joy!  Nothing is ever without excitement around here, and it stays crazy busy, but there is always something to laugh about.
