THANK YOU

I touched a VERY little in the last post about all the help we have had, but tonight I am feeling the need to really let the grandparents know how appreciated they truly are.  Nana, Papa, Grammy, and Grandpa have all worked so hard to get us to this point, and are still working their hinies off to help us.  If it weren't for them, I am convinced we would not be in our new home, nor NEAR as settled.  We would be more sleep-deprived than I care to even comment on.  We would basically be L.O.S.T.  For the first full two weeks we were home, Papa came nearly every single night and did the 11pm feeding with Joe so that I could get into bed by 9pm.  And he's still helping us now.  Most nights when he helps he does not get out of here til 12 midnight, then gets up for work early the next morning.  Also for the first two weeks, Nana would get here at 7am to help me with the early morning feeding so that Joe could get some sleep.  And this was all on her own vacation time from work.  I have to mention Aunt Julee, too.  Julee came to stay for our first full weekend at home, and even managed to have Monday off from work.  Not only did she entertain Kate, but she stayed up LATE with Joe to do the late night feedings, again so that I could get some sleep before having to be up for the 3am feeding.  My Grandmama and Grandaddy have been over to help with feedings, and we have had many others offer to help.  Now Grammy is here staying and is such a big help with Kate and with the babies, too.
I also have to thank my husband.  He is back working, and thankfully has a pretty flexible schedule in his business.  But each night he stays up until 3 or 4am to do the feeding with me before heading to bed for a few hours of good sleep before having to head out to work in the morning.  He is such a good Daddy...I really have no idea where I would be without my life partner!  Love you, Joe, more than I can say.
Funny, but I truly believe all this wonderful help and company we have had has made the past few weeks even easier than from when we first had Kate.  We seem to be more confident (I'm sure which can be attributed to being 2nd-time parents) and getting more rest with the twins than we did with Kate.  It is very busy and sleepy, don't get me wrong, but we are already 3 weeks in...I am trying to truly savor each and every moment of the tiny-ness.  It goes so quick.
A big thank you to all who have dropped by to see us and to meet the boys, for the prayers, the phone calls, the meals, the texts, etc.  We can't thank you enough!  Some pics of a few of our visitors: :)
