Plan A

I talked to my doctor today, and we officially have a plan in place.  We have scheduled an amniocentesis (to determine lung maturity) for Wednesday, July 20.  If the babies' lungs look healthy (which they seem pretty confident that they will be, considering the two rounds of steroids I have had), then we will go ahead and deliver either Thursday, July 21, or Friday, July 22.  This is all, of course, assuming I do not have the babies before then, which is a real possibility.  Now we have the difficult decision of whether or not to attempt a normal delivery or to opt for a C-section.  If this all pans out, what a wonderful anniversary gift for Joe and I (July 23 is #6 for us)!  I guess our "quiet" anniversary dinners will be replaced with rambunctious birthday parties for the next 20 years... ;)
