It's the Holiday Season

We kicked off the holiday season by moving.  Fun, right? ;)  This was our first move with three children in tow.  I could not believe all the stuff we had acquired in just a few short years.  It was slightly humiliating.  And that was AFTER we had gone through what I thought was most of our stuff...and had a yard sale.  Nonetheless, we did move the week before Thanksgiving, and we somehow survived ;) .  And still enjoyed the holidays :)

Getting the tree up in the new house

Sweet faces.  Such excitement :)

I unfortunately don't have many pics to document our Thanksgiving this year.  I think I was in a fog that week just coming off the move.  But we made our usual trip to Bartow for lunch, then headed back to Augusta to have dinner at Grandmama and Grandaddy's.  It was a wonderful day.

Checking out the train set in the Bartow Museum...Aunt Patsy's legacy.  We miss her so.

Christmas Party/Parent Night at Ballet

She got a little shy performing in front of the parents.  She later told me it made her nervous that I was there watching...she is the sweetest.

Post-ballet Chick-Fil-A with Hadley and Hayes

We made a gingerbread house this year!  Courtesy of Aunt Kelly :)

We took a trip to the dentist to see Aunt Kelly:

He was so brave :)

Jessica and I took Hadley and Kate to see "The Nutcracker" put on by the Columbia County Ballet

"Snowman Slam" :) the kids loved this

Kate sang in the school program.  Joe and I both had to work that day so we unfortunately had to miss it.  Thankfully Nana and Papa took her so she wouldn't have to miss out.  She is top row second from the right.

Pics with Santa at the tree farm:

We celebrated Christmas with the Todd's in Valdosta this year at Julee and Parker's.  We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend enjoying time spent with family.

A couple nights before Christmas Lindsay and Jeremy invited us over for pizza and ornament making.  Such a fun night with our sweet friends!

Pizza and The Polar Express.  Isn't their house so warm and Christmas-y??  I couldn't help but snap a pic.

Holding up their sweet ornaments :)

These two were a mess that night!

Celebrating Christmas in Augusta:

Not exactly a Christmas post but too good not to share ;)

Just every now and then I like for Joe to get a little taste of what shopping at Target with them is like.  I make a point to wander off by myself several times while we're there

New Years Day we rode up to the lake.  It was a little chilly out, but definitely a beautiful day.  They enjoyed feeding the seagulls.

Happy New Year!

So what's up for 2015?  Well, we will be building a new house for what we plan to be the last for a long, long time.  We are looking forward to truly getting settled in and beginning this next chapter.  Our hope is to be in our new home by the holidays next year.
Kate will begin kindergarten in the Fall and the boys will start 4-K.  I would swear just last week I was giving her a bottle and rocking her to sleep before bed.  But what a joy to watch her grow.
This year we will be welcoming a new nephew/cousin!  Excited for Julee and Parker and eager to meet this precious baby boy in May.

Joe and I will celebrate 10 years of marriage this year

I pray that this is a wonderful year for everyone!
