Fall Behind

The title of this post is not intended to be a play on words.  This post is about our Fall, and yes, I am insanely behind on blogging.  Not sure where to even begin since I have missed so much.  So I will just include a few snippits of the past 3 months to catch us up.  Fall is such a fun, busy time of year!
We started things off with our annual visit with the Greers and the Greers and Meyur.  Usually everyone comes over for the Border Bash weekend when UGA plays Carolina.  However this year, that weekend fell the weekend after Kyle and Candace's wedding in Louisiana (which we were all at)...so we decided to move our Augusta weekend to UGA-Tennessee weekend.  We had another great time with you guys.  Already excited about next year :)

We visited a pumpkin patch that morning while the guys watched a little ESPN.  We were gone for about 37 minutes total.  Don't think the guys were too happy about that ;)

Just a little baseball game out in the street

These two were buddies :)

We went to Perry for a weekend in October to visit Grammy and Grandpa and go to the Georgia National Fair.  Julee and Parker got to come up Saturday and spend some time with us, too.  The kids enjoyed the fair!

Riding Dumbo w/ Grandpa.  We started wondering if that elephant was ever going to stop spinning around!

Will showed up at our house one Saturday evening dressed like this.  It's ok, buddy.  One day soon Aunt Amanda will find you more appropriate gameday attire!

Maggie flew home for a visit in October, so we decided to all get together for some family shots again.  I am so grateful we were able to get these!

No matter what, there is always someone who just can't seem to cooperate ;)  Luckily, Grandmama and Grandaddy were great sports

Love these two people.  They have been married for 64 years...65 in March 2014.  Wow.

...and these two...

...and these three!

Love this sweet family and their Toy Story theme...too cute!

Trick-or-treat!

From Kate's school picnic:

The same day of the picnic was Kate's 4-year checkup at the pediatrician's office.  Poor thing got a whopping FOUR shots that day.  But she was such a little trooper.  We both cried, but all in all, she did really great.  Oh how I wish I could take all those sticks for my littles!

We visited the Columbia County Fair:

Silly Joshua!  He is always wanting to do exactly whatever Will and Kate are doing.

John on the "Nemo" ride

This shot was from Kate's "Fall Walk" at school.  We walked around the church campus collecting leaves, acorns, sticks, etc...and just taking in the beautiful fall foliage.  The kids really enjoyed it...and the adults did too!

We took the kids to Steed's Dairy Farm one Saturday morning.  They could not get enough of the big slide:

We finally got in to see Kelly the week of Thanksgiving.  This was the boys' first trip to the dentist...I was pleasantly surprised at how well they did ;)

Watching sissy go first

Kate and Will have been taking swimming lessons at the "Y" this fall.  We just wrapped up their second session.  They did great...both are swimming on their own now!

Yes, that was a crazy long post...sheesh.  I will hopefully get to a Thanksgiving and Christmas post soon.  I hope everyone is enjoying the season.  Thanksgiving was late on the calendar this year, so Christmas has really crept up on me.  Kelly and Billy's baby #3 is due any day/moment now....I will post on that soon too!  I am sitting on pins and needles waiting to hear if I will have another nephew or my first niece.  Either way I cannot wait to hold you, sweet baby!  Exciting times :)
