Times with the Todds: 10 Months and Tubes

John and Matthew are 10 months old now. I am beginning to plan another 1st birthday party!! Wha?!?! The past year is all but a blur to us now, but I must say we feel like we have made such a gi-normous accomplishment to all still be here, healthy and kickin'! They have been a little behind on most things, I guess with being born a good month early. They both get up on all fours and rock back and forth, but neither has begun officially crawling as of yet. I know it's going to be sheer nuts when they do become mobile, but a small part of me is actually looking forward to it, just so I won't be literally moving babies all day long. It has been a busy two weeks around here...both boys did wind up having to get tubes in their ears, so we did that last week. They seem to have done pretty well with it...we go back to the ENT tomorrow for follow-up.

I must add that last night we went out to dinner...yes, all FIVE of us...for the first time EVER. Don't get me wrong, we took reinforcements...Nana and Papa came along for moral support...but we decided to finally brave Cracker Barrel with our crew. They did good, aside from a few minor tantrums and fits from Matthew :) We figured Cracker Barrel should be a safe enough place...not only is the food yummy and kid-friendly, but it is so noisy in there all the time, if someone has a meltdown it's almost a sure thing it will go unnoticed, for the most part anyway ;) Who knows? I think we may even try it again soon!

Kathryn and Jacob are expecting their first little one this fall. I was so excited when she asked me to come take pics for them for their "gender reveal" party. She came up with the cutest idea. It was a lot of fun to be there and share in their excitement, and fun to capture in pics for them! Just thought I'd share a few...
