Lake Keowee 2013

We had another great trip at Lake Keowee this year with family.  The weather was great and the scenery was beautiful as ever.  Sadly the boys were a little tough this trip.  They couldn't figure out the sleeping thing while we were there, and our trip was cut a little short when Mattie started throwing up our last day there.  We were scheduled to leave Tuesday morning, but when he started feeling bad Monday evening we decided to head on home that night.  That was the start of a l.o.n.g. week at home with the stomach bug...a whole other story.

Poor boys...they have been cutting their 2-yr molars pretty hard these past few weeks.  We haven't been able to put them down much.  And then the stomach bug on top of that :(

Here Lately

This has been a busy past few weeks for us.  Usually we stick pretty close to home but lately we've been in and out of town some.  Joe and I celebrated our anniversary with a kid-free weekend in Charleston while mom and dad watched the kids.  So nice.  A few weeks later I flew to NYC for a long girls weekend (also very, very nice!).  Then two weeks later Joe and I flew to New Orleans for a wedding he was in (congrats Kyle and Candace!).  We will head to Lake Keowee next week, then things should be back to normal for a while.

In between all that we were lucky enough to have a visit from Meyur!

This past weekend we took the boys to a friend's land up at the lake to do a little fishing and exploring:
